Use the distance and midpoint formulas given to answer the following groups of questions.



Directions and/or Common Information:

Find the distance between each set of points.

(8,11) and (8,4)

(4,0) and (-12,4)

(-7,-3) and (5, -3)

(-3,1) and (9,-5)

Directions and/or Common Information:

Determine whether the three points given are the vertices of a right triangle. 
If they do form a right triangle, answer true; if not, answer false.

(-3,0), (0,0), (0, -12)

(3,1), (-12, 15), (-12, 1)

(0, -3), (5,2), (0, -5)

(8, 2), (12, 9), (1, 15)

Find the midpoint of the line segment connecting each set of points.

(10,-6) and (8,6)

(2,18) and (-16,9)

(-10, -1) and (-14, 13)

(5,-8) and (19, -4)
